US 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar - A US 1921 Morgan silver dollar composed of 0.900 fine silver. This piece was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, evidenced by the absence of a mint mark on the reverse above the letters DO in DOLLAR. The obverse bears the legends E PLURIBUS UNUM and LIBERTY, and the date 1921. The reverse features the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and the motto In God we trust in Gothic script. Weight: 0.860 ozt (26.75 grams). The coin is in circulated condition. The obverse exhibits wear on high points, specifically the hair and headband, with numerous surface scratches and bag marks visible in the fields (photo 1). A small rim nick is present on the lower left edge near the stars (photo 1). The reverse shows wear on the eagle's breast and wing feathers, with scattered contact marks in the fields (photo 2). Dark peripheral toning is present along the rims on both sides.
