A Pair of Art Deco Style Sterling Silver, Onyx and White Stone Dangle Earrings - A matched pair of geometric dangle earrings in the Art Deco style, constructed from sterling silver and set with black and clear stones. Each earring features a fan-shaped upper section inlaid with black stone, identified as onyx, and accented with a single round facet-cut clear stone at the centre. The silver setting is embellished with pierced linear and scrollwork decoration. Suspended from a single link is a large teardrop-shaped onyx pendant, held within a silver triangular cap. The earrings are fitted with hook-style ear wires. An impressed '925' mark is present on the reverse of the upper fan section; a small rectangular impressed mark is visible above it, though the characters within are not legible (photo 4). Length: 70mm Width: 25mm. The earrings are in good vintage condition. Natural tarnish and patina are visible across the silver surfaces (photos 1-4). Small, shallow chips and minor surface wear are present on the edges of the onyx stone inlays, particularly on the top edge of one fan-shaped section (photo 1). The ear wires appear straight and remain functional.
