Sterling Silver and Moonstone Floral Spray Brooch - A vintage floral spray brooch crafted from sterling silver. The botanical motif features two six-petaled flowers, a single large ribbed leaf, and three stems gathered by a tied ribbon bow. Each flower center is set with an oval cabochon moonstone displaying blue adularescence. The reverse is fitted with a long pin stem and a rolling safety C-clasp. The reverse of the leaf bears an impressed mark reading STERLING; to the left of this is a second impressed mark that is not legible as a name. An impressed mark reading STERLING also appears on the reverse of the upper flower head. Length measured at the longest point: 3.75 inches Weight: 0.570 ozt. The brooch is in good vintage condition. There is heavy surface tarnish and oxidation across the metal surfaces, most notably within the recessed areas of the leaf and petals (photos 1, 2, 3). The pin mechanism is functional and secure (photo 6). Both gemstones are present and appear securely set without visible damage.
