1887 US Silver Morgan Dollar - A US 1887 Morgan silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse displays a profile of Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed with the word LIBERTY, surrounded by thirteen stars, the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the date 1887. The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by a wreath. Reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the motto In God we trust, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper.
