Sterling Silver and 14 Karat Gold-Filled Necklace with Rough-Cut Heart-Shaped Blue Stone Pendant - This necklace features a focal pendant crafted from a large, rough-cut heart-shaped stone in shades of blue and white with reddish-brown mineral inclusions. The stone is secured via a vertical wire-wrapped pin with small silver-toned beads at the top and base, suspended from a tapered sterling silver bail. The interior of the bail is impressed with the mark 925. The pendant is hung on a flat woven-link chain that terminates in a spring ring clasp. A rectangular metal tag attached near the clasp is impressed on one side with 1/20 14K, indicating the chain is 14 karat gold-filled. The reverse side of the tag features a mark that is present but not legible as a name or symbol. Chain length: approximately 19 inches Pendant dimensions: approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. The metal components, including the sterling silver bail and the gold-filled chain, exhibit visible surface tarnish and oxidation throughout (photo 3, 5). The stone displays natural surface pits, fissures, and varied textures characteristic of rough-cut mineral specimens (photo 1, 3). The spring ring clasp is functional, and no breaks are visible in the chain links.
