A Pair of Sterling Silver and Garnet Flower Cluster Drop Earrings - This pair of drop earrings features a floral cluster design, each composed of five round-cut faceted red garnets in circular bezel settings. The garnet drops are suspended from leverback closures. The earrings are constructed of sterling silver with a yellow gold-toned finish. The inner arm of the closure bears two impressed marks in rectangular cartouches: the first contains the numerals 925 and the second contains the letter G followed by a character that is not clearly legible. The gemstones are faceted and secured within smooth metal frames. Weight: 0.034 ozt. The earrings exhibit minor surface wear and light tarnish consistent with age and use, visible on the reverse of the settings (photo 3) and the closure mechanisms (photo 4). The garnet gemstones appear secure and show no visible chips or cracks (photo 1). The leverback closures are in functional condition.
