A Trio of Vintage Cameo Jewelry Pieces - This collection consists of three pieces of vintage jewelry, including two brooches and one pendant on a chain. The first brooch is an oval-format piece featuring a white profile of a woman with an elaborate floral headpiece set against a pink ground. The cameo is held in a simple yellow metal bezel frame. The second brooch is rectangular with a cream-toned relief depicting a winged figure in motion. The cameo is set within a yellow metal frame featuring a decorative twisted wire border and a pin back with a C-clasp. The third piece is a pendant on a yellow metal link chain, featuring a small oval cameo with a white profile on a black ground, centered in a decorative openwork frame with scalloped edges. The reverse of the pendant frame bears the word STERLING impressed in a fan-shaped cartouche at the top of the frame. The yellow metal finish on the pendant and chain appears to be a gold plating over the silver base. No other marks are visible. Pink brooch: 2 inches in length. Rectangular brooch: 1.25 inches in height. Pendant: 1 inch in height. Chain: Approximately 18 inches in length. All pieces show surface wear and tarnish consistent with age. The pink brooch relief shows minor surface accumulation in the crevices (photo 3). The rectangular brooch cameo exhibits small dark inclusions and surface pitting, particularly in the upper left corner (photo 5). The metal frame of the rectangular brooch shows significant tarnish and finish loss on the reverse (photo 6). The pendant and chain show tarnish and wear to the yellow metal finish (photo 7 and 9). The pin stems on the brooches are functional.
