Bidspirit auction | Roseville Florentine Pattern Earthenware Centerpiece

Roseville Florentine Pattern Earthenware Centerpiece Bowl - This earthenware low centerpiece bowl is decorated in the Roseville Florentine pattern. The circular form features a flared rim with a repeating band of molded stylized petals. The exterior body is partitioned into panels containing high-relief grape clusters and broad leaves. The piece is finished in a multi-tone matte glaze with tan and ochre hues on the highlights and deep moss green and brown tones in the recessed areas. The interior has a tan glaze showing concentric throw lines. The base features a small blue ink-stamped character that appears as a stylized R, which is not legible as a full name. Measured across the widest point of the rim: 10 1/4 inches. A small, shallow chip is located on the outer edge of the foot rim (photo 3). The interior and exterior surfaces show minor wear and several small factory-original glaze pops and imperfections (photos 1 and 2). No major cracks or repairs are visible.
