Doulton Iridescent Cobalt Blue Luster Ceramic Flower Frog - An iridescent ceramic flower frog featuring a deep cobalt blue luster glaze. The piece is constructed with a bulbous, multi-lobed organic form. The top surface contains eleven circular holes of varying sizes intended to support flower stems. The underside reveals a dark gray ceramic body with three small, rounded feet. The base features an impressed rectangular mark containing the word DOULTON in capital letters. A small incised X mark is located near the center of the base. Faint traces of a circular stamp are visible directly above the rectangular mark, though only the bottom arc is present. Width: 3.75 inches. The item is in good overall condition. Minor wear and small chips are visible on the three applied feet (photo 3). Light mineral deposits and residue are present inside the functional holes (photo 2). The iridescent surface shows some light micro-scratching from handling (photo 1). No structural cracks or significant losses are noted.
