Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver English King Pattern Teaspoon - An American late 19th-century sterling silver teaspoon in the English King pattern. The piece features an ornate handle with scrolling foliate edges and a terminal decorated with a large shell motif. An intertwined script monogram is engraved on the front terminal face. The reverse side of the handle bears an impressed mark reading TIFFANY & CO. M STERLING. The letter M date mark indicates the spoon was produced during the Edward Moore era, between 1873 and 1891. The construction is solid .925 silver. Bowl length: approximately 1.75 inches Total length: approximately 6 inches Weight: approximately 30 grams. Tarnish is present across the surface, particularly within the deep relief of the handle ornamentation as seen in photos 1 and 2. The bowl exhibits fine surface scratches and light wear commensurate with age. A small, dark oxidation pit is located in the center of the bowl as shown in photos 1 and 4.
