Milton Bradley Bradley's Rapid Fire Cannon Game Number 4218 with Original Box - This lot features a Milton Bradley Bradley's Rapid Fire Cannon game, model number 4218, dating to approximately 1918. The mechanical toy is constructed with a black-painted cast iron tripod base, a wooden receiver housing the firing mechanism, a wooden barrel, and a metal hand crank. It includes a detachable wire ammunition magazine that mounts to the top of the receiver. Three turned wood ammunition slugs are included. The hand-cranked mechanism is designed to cycle and shoot the wooden projectiles. The original illustrated cardboard box is present. The exterior lid displays the title and maker information for the Milton Bradley Company of Springfield, Massachusetts.
