Indian Beaded Leather and Antler Medicine Pipe - A North American Indigenous style medicine pipe featuring a short wooden stem entirely wrapped in dark brown leather. The bowl is made from a carved antler tine, and the opposite end features a rounded dark wood or stone finial. The stem is decorated with a wide central band of orange-red glass seed beads applied in a wrapped technique. A loop of light blue and dark metallic-finished beads hangs from the center, terminating in a large dark teardrop bead and a long black horsehair tassel. Long leather fringes are attached to both ends of the stem, and a braided leather cord serves as a carrying strap. The item includes a vintage paper label and a numbered sticker.
