Della and Oscar Chino Acoma Pueblo Silver and Turquoise Wide Cuff Bracelet - This wide Southwestern-style cuff bracelet is a handcrafted silver piece by Acoma Pueblo artists Della and Oscar Chino. The central face of the bracelet features three large, vertically-set oval turquoise cabochons secured in sawtooth bezels. The stones exhibit a natural color gradient from vibrant sky blue to a deeper sea green with visible matrix. The flanking side panels are decorated with a combination of turquoise and coral mosaic chip inlay arranged in geometric and scroll patterns. The silverwork displays complex decorative techniques including sunburst stampings and stippled texture within recessed areas. The interior of the cuff bears a stamped hallmark consisting of a central cross pattée surrounded by the characters D, O, C, and 8. Width: Approximately 2.25 inches. The silver displays moderate to heavy oxidation and a dark natural patina, particularly in the recessed and textured areas. Fine surface scratches and light scuffing are visible throughout the metal, consistent with age and previous wear. The three turquoise cabochons are secure in their settings. The chip inlay appears largely intact with minor surface irregularities and pitting inherent to the original construction.
