Melvin Thomas Jr Navajo Sterling Silver Bear Claw and Turquoise Cuff Bracelet - Melvin Thomas Jr (Navajo) sterling silver cuff bracelet. This large-scale piece features two natural bear claws set into silver caps, accented by three bright blue turquoise cabochons held in sawtooth bezels. The wide cuff is decorated with elaborate applied silverwork, including multiple detailed hand-wrought feathers, rope-twist wire borders, wire scrolls, and spherical silver beads. The interior is stamped with the maker mark M Thomas Jr and STERLING. Width: 1.5 inches. The bracelet displays an overall dark patina of oxidation, particularly in the recessed areas of the silverwork. Light surface scratches and minor scuffing are present on the silver surfaces. The turquoise stones are intact with visible natural matrix. The bear claws show natural age-related surface cracking and wear, particularly near the tips.
