J.W. Benson 0.935 Silver Half-Hunter Pocket Watch Swiss Made Movement Runs - A Swiss-made half-hunter pocket watch retailed by J.W. Benson, London. The case is constructed from 0.935 silver and bears the Swiss Three Bears hallmarks alongside the JWB maker mark and serial number 751650. The front cover features a central viewing window encircled by blue enameled Roman numerals. The white enamel dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers, a rail-track minute circle, and a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The inner cuvette is engraved Watch Maker by Warrant to the Queen, Examined by J.W. Benson, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, London, accompanied by a royal crest and cursive Swiss Made signature. The movement is a manual wind, Swiss-made bridge plate design with a jeweled lever escapement. The inner cuvette also bears a hand-scratched service number 123620. Case size: 48mm.
