A Collection of Vintage Halloween Decorations and Party Favors featuring Rosbro Plastics - This lot contains an assortment of mid-century Halloween decorations and party favors, including plastic novelties, lithographed tin, and paper honeycomb items. A featured piece is a hard black plastic cat novelty figure carrying an orange jack-o-lantern, embossed on the base with ROSBRO PLASTICS PROV. R.I. Also included is a plastic pumpkin-head rattle with a translucent body containing multi-colored beads. A cylindrical tin rattle noise maker features classic Halloween lithography of a witch, bats, owls, and jack-o-lanterns on a red field, with green painted rims and a painted orange wooden handle. Paper decorations consist of tissue paper honeycomb pumpkins in different sizes, a yellow honeycomb corn stalk, and a pumpkin-head scarecrow cardboard die-cut. Included are original unopened packages of whistle noise makers with orange and black spiral designs and yellow and orange crepe paper fringe. The whistle packaging features header cards labeled CLEVER IDEA PARTY MAKERS with an original retail price of 59 cents. The items are in good vintage condition. The tin noise maker shows minor surface wear and small areas of paint loss on the rims and handle consistent with age. The Rosbro plastic cat and the pumpkin rattle show light surface scuffing. Paper decorations exhibit minor creasing and light wear typical of age. The packaged whistles are new old stock in original sealed bags, with some clouding and shelf wear visible on the plastic packaging.
