Large Vintage Embossed Arched-Back Black Cat Halloween Die-Cut Decoration - This is a large-scale vintage Halloween die-cut decoration made of embossed cardboard. The piece depicts a classic arched-back black cat in a defensive posture. The surface is heavily embossed to create a realistic fur texture. The cat features large, circular green eyes with black pupils and an open mouth detailed with white fangs and a red tongue. The reverse side is plain tan cardboard and includes a small original punch hole near the top for hanging. A vertical printed mark reading MADE IN U.S.A. is located along the inner edge of one hind leg. Height: Approximately 15.75 inches. The item is in good vintage condition with moderate age-related wear. There is visible pigment loss and scuffing on the high points of the embossing and along the outer edges. The tip of the left ear (from the viewer's perspective) is missing. The reverse shows scattered foxing, minor staining, and areas of adhesive residue with associated paper loss near the tail section. The cardboard remains structurally stiff with no major folds or creases.
