Bidspirit auction | A Collection of Vintage Blow-Mold
A Collection of Vintage Blow-Mold Plastic Halloween Decorations - An assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century Halloween collectibles centered around a large orange winking jack-o-lantern blow-mold bucket. The bucket is constructed from molded orange plastic featuring a winking facial expression with two molded bottom teeth and accents painted in black. It is equipped with a black plastic carrying handle secured by metal rivets. The collection also includes several small orange blow-mold pumpkin light covers, each designed with vertical ribbing and circular apertures at the top and sides for insertion into a string of lights. A small blow-mold white plastic skull with darkened eye sockets and a flexible orange plastic cup with a screen-printed jack-o-lantern face are also present. The underside of the large bucket, the small light covers, the skull, and the cup are all smooth and devoid of any maker's marks, country-of-origin stamps, or labels. The collection is in good vintage condition showing typical wear consistent with age and use. The large pumpkin bucket shows minor paint loss on the black facial features (photo 1, 5) and light surface scuffing around the top aperture (photo 2). The handle remains securely attached. The small pumpkin light covers and skull show light surface dust in recessed areas and minor scuffs (photo 7, 9). The flexible plastic cup shows slight surface wear and minor creasing when handled (photo 12). No structural cracks or significant losses were observed in the plastic components.
