Nine Piece Collection of Vintage Pyrex Opal Glass Bowls in Friendship, Butterprint, and Butterfly Gold Patterns - A collection of nine pieces of vintage Pyrex opal glass ovenware manufactured by Corning in the United States. The assortment includes a variety of nesting Cinderella-style bowls with integrated pour spouts/handles and traditional round mixing bowls. The collection features several iconic mid-century patterns and solid colors. Items included: One 4 quart round mixing bowl, model 404, featuring a brown-to-yellow gradient exterior. One 4 quart Cinderella mixing bowl, model 444, in turquoise glass with a white Amish Butterprint pattern depicting a farmer, his wife, and wheat sheaves. One 2.5 liter Cinderella mixing bowl, model 443, in white glass with a yellow floral and butterfly Butterfly Gold pattern. One 2.5 quart round mixing bowl, model 403, in white glass decorated with the Friendship pattern of red and orange stylized birds and flowers. One 2.5 quart round casserole dish base, model 475-B, in yellow glass with the Butterfly Gold pattern in white. One 1.5 liter Cinderella mixing bowl, model 442, in yellow glass with white Butterfly Gold pattern. One 750 milliliter Cinderella mixing bowl, model 441, in white glass with yellow Butterfly Gold pattern. One small white Cinderella mixing bowl. Base markings on the items include variations of the Pyrex trademark, model numbers, and capacity measurements in quarts, pints, or liters. Specific markings transcribed from the bases include TRADE MARK PYREX MADE IN U.S.A. OVEN WARE and PYREX by CORNING BAKING AND MICROWAVE. The collection is in overall good vintage condition. Several pieces, specifically the solid green and brown gradient bowls, exhibit surface scuffing and a loss of original factory gloss resulting in a matte finish, commonly associated with dishwasher use. The printed patterns remain largely intact with minor pinpoint losses and light surface scratches consistent with age and typical kitchen use. No structural cracks, significant chips, or flea bites are observed.
