1894-O United States Morgan Silver Dollar - A circular 1894 United States Morgan Silver Dollar struck in 90 percent silver. The obverse bears the struck inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1894. The reverse is struck with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. A small, impressed circular O mint mark, designating the New Orleans Mint, is located on the reverse centrally above the letters D and O. The motto In God we trust is struck in Gothic script above the eagle. The coin is shown on a digital scale with a measured weight of 0.853 ozt. This is a circulated coin with visible wear on the high points of the hair and eagle breast. The surfaces exhibit numerous contact marks, hairlines, and dark toning in the recessed areas around the lettering and stars. Minor nicks are present along the rim.
