A Collection of Thirteen Antique and Vintage Stick Pins with King and Eisele Co. Box - A collection of thirteen antique and vintage stick pins of mixed styles and materials, housed in an original retailer box from Buffalo, New York. The assortment features a variety of motifs including a large mother-of-pearl and multicolored bead cluster, a turquoise cabochon in a gold-tone bezel, a three-dimensional gold-tone rose, a script letter A, and a silver-tone medallion depicting a tughra or crest. Additional pieces include a heart-engraved gold-tone plaque with an attached safety chain, an engraved oval plaque, a modernist design featuring a central dome within a circular frame, and several pins topped with glass beads in ruby red, black, and iridescent finishes. The pins are constructed with mixed metal stems in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes, some of which feature decorative twisted or threaded sections. The included cardboard box features a printed label reading KING and EISELE CO. / Manufacturing Jewelers / JOBBERS IN EVERYTHING USED IN / A FIRST-CLASS JEWELRY STORE / 10 to 20 North Division St. / 342 and 344 Washington St. / BUFFALO, N. Y. A line of illegible pencil cursive is written below the printed text. Dimensions: The pins range in length from approximately 2.5 inches to 3.5 inches. The collection shows general signs of age-related wear. Moderate to heavy tarnish and oxidation are visible on many of the metal stems and reverse surfaces (Photo 5, Photo 7). The turquoise pin shows evidence of adhesive residue on the reverse side (Photo 8). The original box is in poor condition, showing significant water staining, surface scuffing, and wear to the corners and edges (Photo 1).
