Leonore Doskow Handmade Sterling Silver Modernist Salt or Pepper Shaker - A Leonore Doskow handmade sterling silver individual salt or pepper shaker featuring a minimalist cylindrical form. The two-piece construction consists of a main body with an integrated perforated top and a removable friction-fit base cap. The exterior features a plain, polished finish accented by a single applied rectangular plaque on one side containing a stylized scroll or C motif. The underside of the base is impressed with two lines of uppercase text: LEONORE DOSKOW and HANDMADE STERLING. As shown against a ruler in photo 8, the shaker stands approximately 1 5/8 inches in height. Weight: 0.487 troy ounces. The shaker exhibits significant overall tarnish and dark oxidation across the exterior surfaces (photo 1). Small areas of pitting and dark corrosion are visible, particularly near the top edge and around the applied plaque (photo 1). The interior surfaces show dark oxidation and residue from use (photo 6). The upper rim of the body appears slightly out-of-round (photo 6).
