A Lot of 20 US Indian Head Cents - A collection of 20 US one-cent bronze coins of the Indian Head Cent design. Each obverse features the inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA along with a visible date at the bottom edge. The reverse face of each specimen is inscribed ONE CENT within an oak wreath and shield device. The dates represented in this lot include 1888, 1894, 1895, 1897, 1900, 1901, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, and 1908. The items are presented in a clear plastic zipper bag bearing a handwritten inscription in black ink reading Lot of 20 and 160 (Photo 9). The coins are in circulated condition, with details ranging from Good to Very Fine. Significant environmental damage is evident, including heavy green verdigris oxidation on multiple coins (Photos 1, 2, and 8). Obverse surfaces show varying degrees of wear, particularly to the feather tips and the headband inscriptions (Photos 2, 4, and 6). Reverse surfaces exhibit dark toning, surface deposits, and varied levels of wear to the wreath and shield details (Photos 3, 5, 7, and 8).
