Sterling Silver and Turquoise Cluster Pendant Necklace - An Italian sterling silver rope chain necklace featuring a detachable pear-shaped cluster pendant. The pendant is centrally set with a large pear-shaped turquoise cabochon, measuring approximately 32mm by 22mm, which exhibits a greenish-blue color and a small amount of brown matrix near the base. This central stone is surrounded by a halo of twenty-two round turquoise cabochons, each approximately 4mm in diameter, displaying a bright blue hue. The stones are set within a sterling silver frame featuring a scalloped edge and beaded silver accents. The reverse of the pendant is impressed with the characters 925. The rope chain secures with a lobster claw clasp. The clasp tag is stamped on one side with the characters 925 ITALY and the reverse side is stamped with the characters PR. Necklace length: 16 inches Pendant length: 2 inches Pendant width: 1.5 inches. The item is in good condition. The silver surfaces show light wear and fine scratches consistent with age and use, visible on the flat reverse of the pendant (photo 2). There is a natural dark patina and tarnish present within the recessed areas of the ornate silverwork on the front of the pendant (photo 7). All turquoise stones appear securely set and are free of visible chips or cracks.
