Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Cherub Pendant Necklace - An Italian Tiffany & Co. sterling silver necklace featuring a circular pendant with a relief depiction of a cherub resting its chin on its hand. The motif is derived from the angels in Raphael's Sistine Madonna. The pendant is suspended from a sterling silver cable link chain and is secured with a spring ring clasp. A metal tag attached to the Tiffany & Co. sterling chain is stamped on one side with the name TIFFANY & CO. and on the reverse with the characters 925ITALY. The reverse of the circular pendant features a mark consisting of the letter P within a pentagonal border, positioned above a stamped oval cartouche reading 925 followed by the word ITALY. Length: Approximately 16 inches Weight: 2.40 dwt. The necklace is in good condition with light surface wear and a natural patina consistent with age (photo 1). The relief details on the cherub pendant remain crisp (photo 2). All stamped marks on the clasp tag and pendant reverse are clear and legible (photos 3, 4, 5). The spring ring clasp is intact and functional.
