US 2004-W American Silver Eagle One Dollar Proof Coin OGP COA - A 2004 United States American Silver Eagle one dollar proof coin struck in .999 fine silver. The coin features a proof finish characterized by frosted relief devices against mirrored fields. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with inscriptions reading LIBERTY across the top, IN GOD WE TRUST in the right field, and the date 2004 at the base. A small struck AW monogram is visible in the lower right field near the base. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with a shield, clutching an olive branch and arrows, with a ribbon in its beak bearing the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. A struck W mint mark for the West Point Mint is located at the lower left of the eagle. The reverse peripheral inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR, accompanied by a small struck JM monogram. The coin is housed in its original clear plastic capsule and a blue velvet-lined presentation case with a printed United States seal on the interior lid. It is accompanied by the original United States Mint Certificate of Authenticity specifying the coin's technical properties. Diameter: 40.60mm Thickness: 3.10mm Weight: 31.103g. The coin is in excellent uncirculated proof condition with no visible toning, spots, or surface impairments on the obverse or reverse (photos 1-3). The protective clear plastic capsule exhibits minor surface scuffing and light scratches to the exterior (photo 3). The blue velvet-lined presentation case and the printed specification folder are well-preserved with no significant wear (photo 4).
