Gothic Style Skull and Rose Biker Ring - A large Gothic-style statement ring featuring a central anatomical skull motif. The cranium is topped with a relief-cast rose blossom and the design is bordered by six prominent curved spikes. The ring is constructed with an openwork pierced frame. The interior of the band is impressed with a capital letter S followed by the digits 7 and 5. A small circular stamp is also present near these characters, but the details within the circle are not legible. Weight: 0.330 ozt Size: US size 10 Width: Approximately 0.75 inches. The ring exhibits heavy tarnish and surface oxidation throughout (photo 1). Significant wear to the silver-toned plating on the exterior of the band reveals a dark, copper-colored base metal beneath (photo 4). The posterior of the band is partially covered by a discarded adhesive bandage which has left visible residue and fibers on the metal (photos 3, 5). Small casting pits are present in the metal surface (photo 6).
