German Sterling Silver and Plastic Cameo Pendant Necklace - A vintage German sterling silver pendant necklace featuring an oval cameo. The pendant consists of an ornate openwork sterling silver frame decorated with filigree details and floral motifs. Housed within the frame is an orange-red plastic cameo carved in relief depicting the profile of a woman with flowers in her hair. The pendant is suspended from a fine curb link sterling silver chain. The reverse of the silver frame features an impressed mark reading STERLING and an impressed mark reading GERMANY. The necklace is secured with a spring ring clasp. Doubled chain length measures approximately 9.625 inches for a total length of approximately 19.25 inches; pendant measures approximately 1.25 inches by 0.875 inches. The item is in good vintage condition. Significant dark tarnish and oxidation are visible across the sterling silver frame and chain (photos 1, 3). The plastic cameo is well-preserved with no chips or cracks visible to the carved relief (photo 2). The spring ring clasp is functional.
