Southwestern Style Wide Band Ring with Turquoise and Coral Chip Inlay - A Southwestern style wide band ring constructed from an unmarked silver toned metal. The ring features a saddle style design with a central circular medallion divided into four recessed quadrants. These quadrants are filled with a chip inlay of red stone, likely coral. Flanking the center are two triangular recessed panels filled with a chip inlay of blue stone, likely turquoise. The decorative elements include scalloped edges and rope twist borders that surround the inlay panels. The interior of the band features two small circular impressed indentations that are not legible as characters or a name (photo 4). A visible vertical join line is apparent on the back of the band (photo 4). Ring size: US 9 Weight: 0.233 ozt Front width: 20 mm Back width: 7 mm. The ring is in good vintage condition with visible surface scratches, small nicks, and general wear to the metal consistent with age (photos 1, 2, 3). Significant tarnishing and dark patina are present within the recessed decorative borders (photos 1, 2, 3). A vertical seam line is visible at the back of the band where the metal was joined (photo 4). The chip inlay appears mostly intact, though small fibers and dust particles are caught within the resin surface (photos 2, 3).
