Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Sculptural Solitaire Cuff Bracelet - A Mexican sculptural bypass cuff bracelet crafted in silver. The piece features a modern, fluid design with thick tapering ends and a cut-out negative space detail at the head. A round brilliant-cut colorless stone, measuring approximately 10mm in diameter, is secured in a six-prong basket setting. The interior of the band features two impressed stamps. The first is a circular mark containing the letters MEXICO across the top and TAXCO across the bottom, with the characters TH in the center (Photo 5). The second is a rectangular mark containing the characters TH-48. These marks identify the piece as a post-1979 Taxco registration from an artisan with the surname initial H. Weight: 1.118 ozt Interior Width: 2.5 inches. The silver surface shows fine scratches, scuffs, and minor nicks throughout the exterior and interior (Photos 3 and 4). Dark oxidation and tarnish are present in the recessed areas surrounding the setting and within the stamped marks (Photo 5). The stone shows surface dust and grime accumulation behind the setting (Photo 2). The prongs are intact and the stone appears secure.
