Bidspirit auction | Southwestern Sterling Silver Chip Inlay

Southwestern Sterling Silver Chip Inlay Ring with Turquoise and Coral - A Southwestern style ring featuring a split-shank design that tapers into a single band. The ring is crafted from silver-toned metal and centered with an oval bezel-set panel. This panel is decorated using a chip inlay technique, composed of red coral fragments in the upper portion and blue-green turquoise fragments in the lower portion. The bezel itself is finished with decorative hand-stamped serrations, featuring three distinct notches on each lateral side. On the interior of the shank near one of the split joints, there is an impressed mark; however, the characters are heavily worn and are not legible as a name or specific word. The metal shows a significant dark patina and tarnish consistent with age. US ring size 6 Weight: 0.095 ozt. The ring is in good vintage condition with visible signs of wear. Significant tarnish and a dark patina are present across all silver surfaces (photo 1, photo 4). There are fine surface scratches and minor pitting visible on the metal of the shank and bezel (photo 3). The chip inlay stones are intact, stable, and show no missing fragments (photo 2).
