1945 Venezuela Silver 1 Bolivar Coin - A silver 1945 1 Bolivar coin issued by the United States of Venezuela (Estados Unidos de Venezuela). The obverse features a profile portrait of Simon Bolivar facing left, flanked by the inscriptions BOLIVAR and LIBERTADOR. An impressed signature at the base of the neck reads BARRE. The reverse displays the Venezuelan national coat of arms, including a wheat sheaf, a trophy of arms, and a horse. The reverse legend reads ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA at the top edge, with GRAM. 5 * 1945 * LEI 835 along the bottom edge. The coin is composed of .835 fine silver. It is presented in a white cardboard and Mylar protective flip. Weight: 5 grams. The coin is in circulated condition with a silver-gray luster. Moderate wear is visible on the high points of the design, particularly affecting the fine hair details of the portrait (photo 1) and the wheat sheaf and horse within the coat of arms (photo 2). Numerous light surface marks and fine scratches are visible in the fields on both sides. Light toning is present along the inner rim. There are no significant gouges or edge nicks visible.
