A Graduated Natural Turquoise Nugget Necklace with Silver-Tone Metal Toggle Clasp - This graduated nugget necklace is composed of nineteen irregular turquoise stones. The nuggets exhibit a range of vibrant light blue to greenish-blue hues with prominent, natural matrix inclusions in dark brown and black. The stones are strung in a graduated fashion, with the largest specimens positioned at the center. The necklace is secured with a silver-tone metal toggle clasp consisting of a circular ring and a T-bar. Decorative metal caps with granulated metalwork are situated at the junctions where the strand meets the clasp components. No maker marks, hallmarks, or alphanumeric signatures are visible on the metal elements. The necklace measures approximately 15.5 inches in total length. The central turquoise nuggets measure approximately 1 inch in length. The necklace is in good vintage condition. The turquoise stones display natural surface pits, crevices, and matrix variations inherent to the material (photo 1).
