Two-Tone Metal Sculptural Eagle Statement Ring - A large sculptural statement ring featuring a central eagle head in high relief, flanked by stylized textured wings that wrap around to form the shoulders of the band. The design utilizes two different tones of metal, with a silver-toned avian head set against gold-toned wings. The interior of the ring and the reverse of the central motif exhibit a rough, irregular texture and surface pitting. No hallmarks, maker's marks, metal purity stamps, or country-of-origin marks are visible on the interior or exterior of the band. Face width: approximately 1 inch (photo 7) Ring size: US 10 (photo 8) Weight: 0.636 troy ounces (photo 9). The ring is in well-worn condition. There is heavy tarnish and deep oxidation throughout the recessed areas of the feathers and eagle head (photo 1). Significant wear and loss of the gold-toned finish is present on the high points of the wings and the outer surfaces of the band (photos 3 and 6). The interior of the shank and the back of the face motif show irregular surface pitting and textures from the casting process (photos 4 and 5).
