Multi-Strand Lapis Lazuli and Carnelian Ancient Style Bead Necklace - A hand-strung multi-strand beaded necklace designed in an ancient revival style. The necklace features a combination of semi-precious gemstone beads and gold-tone metal components. The central focal point is a large spherical lapis lazuli bead flanked by two gold-tone granulated spacer beads and two smaller round lapis lazuli beads. Moving outward from the center, the necklace transitions into three strands on each side. These strands incorporate orange wedge-shaped and rectangular carnelian beads, cylindrical blue lapis lazuli beads, and gold-tone disc spacers. The three strands merge back into a single strand for the upper portion of the necklace, which is composed of graduated, thin, dark greenish-grey disc-shaped beads, likely stone or composition. The necklace is finished with a yellow gold-tone S-hook clasp and loop terminals. The beads are strung on a green thread. No hallmarks, maker's marks, or signatures are visible on any of the metal components or beads. Length: 18 inches.
