Two Sterling Silver and Turquoise Southwestern Style Rings - Two sterling silver fashion rings featuring robin's egg blue turquoise cabochons in a Southwestern style. The first ring features a 15mm by 7mm oval turquoise cabochon secured in a sawtooth bezel, framed by decorative scrolled and scalloped silver work on a split-shoulder band. The interior of the band is impressed with a square hallmark containing a stylized device, followed by the word STERLING in all capital letters. The second ring holds a 4mm round turquoise cabochon integrated into a cast band with a floral and foliate motif that extends onto the shoulders. The inner shank of this ring is impressed with the word STERLING in all capital letters, which shows significant wear and is partially obscured. Both rings are constructed of solid sterling silver and exhibit a naturally aged patina. Total weight: 0.123 ozt Ring 1 size: US 4.5 Ring 2 size: US 6.5. Both rings exhibit moderate to heavy tarnish and oxidation, particularly in the recessed areas of the silver work (Photo 1). The silver bands show light surface scratches and wear consistent with age (Photos 2 and 4). The hallmark on the floral ring is significantly worn and difficult to read (Photo 4). The sawtooth bezel on the oval ring displays minor unevenness from wear (Photo 1). The stones are secure in their settings and show no visible chips or cracks.
