Sterling Silver Hanuman Gada Mace Pendant Necklace - A sterling silver necklace featuring a pendant modeled after a Gada, a traditional mace associated with the Hindu deity Hanuman. The pendant consists of a smooth, tapered conical neck leading to a central decorative gallery. This section is ornamented with applied wirework scrolls and filigree bands. The pendant terminates in a bulbous spherical base, which is finished at the tip with a cluster of three small silver granules. The pendant is suspended from a sterling silver rope chain. The necklace is secured with a spring ring clasp. A flat metal tag attached near the clasp bears a recessed oval stamp reading 925, indicating the item is composed of sterling silver. Overall length: 5 inches Pendant length: 1.75 inches Weight: 0.200 troy ounces. The item is in good vintage condition. Significant natural tarnishing and a dark patina are present throughout, particularly within the recessed areas of the decorative wirework (photo 1). The smooth surfaces of the conical neck and the bulbous base show light surface scratches and several minor shallow indentations consistent with age and wear (photo 3). The spring ring clasp is functional (photo 2). All decorative elements including the granulation and filigree appear secure and intact.
