A Nature Craft, Inc. 12 Karat Gold-Filled Necklace Featuring a Trio of Preserved Yellowstone Aspen Leaves - This vintage necklace features a trio of preserved aspen leaf pendants suspended from a yellow gold-toned curb-link chain. The necklace is presented in its original velvet-lined box with accompanying manufacturer documentation. The pendants are genuine botanical specimens from Yellowstone National Park that have been preserved through electroplating. According to the included technical insert from Nature Craft, Inc., the leaves are coated with pure copper and nickel and finished in iridescent autumn hues of reddish-orange and yellow. A rectangular gold-toned adhesive label in the presentation box is printed with 12KT GOLD FILLED. The necklace is accompanied by a folded paper tag featuring a green printed header reading REAL LEAVES and a typewritten adhesive label reading ASPEN. The interior of the tag contains a circular purple stamp reading Yellowstone Nat'l. Park. The reverse of the tag is printed with a description of the preservation process and the maker name NATURE CRAFT, INC. The individual leaves exhibit natural variations in shape and size, with delicate vein patterns visible through the metallic finish. The necklace is in good vintage condition with no visible losses or damage to the iridescent metallic finish on the leaves (Photo 2). The curb-link chain shows no visible kinks or breaks (Photo 4). The original paper documentation shows significant creasing, age-related yellowing, and residue from old adhesive tape (Photo 3 and 5). The velvet-lined presentation box exhibits moderate surface wear and light scuffing to the exterior edges (Photo 1).
