A Trio of Matched Pairs of Sterling Silver Earrings including Tahe Navajo Drop Earrings - This lot comprises three matched pairs of sterling silver earrings. The first pair consists of Navajo drop earrings with a geometric, fan-shaped design featuring a tiered, stepped lower edge and vertical radial lines. These are fitted with French wire backings. An impressed mark on the reverse of one earring reads TAHE in capital block letters. The second pair are stud earrings in an eight-point starburst pattern with radial ridges and a central raised point. These are secured with butterfly push-backs. The reverse bears an impressed stamp reading 925. The third pair are modernist square stud earrings featuring an abstract textured flame motif bordered by five fine parallel lines on two adjacent sides. The textured areas exhibit iridescent patination. These are fitted with butterfly push-backs and are stamped 925 on the reverse. Total weight: 0.516 ozt Drop earrings measure approximately 1.75 inches in total length. Starburst earrings measure approximately 0.75 inches in diameter. Square earrings measure approximately 0.75 inches square. The lot shows age-appropriate surface tarnish and fine scratches throughout (photo 1). The French wires on the drop earrings show darkening and oxidation (photo 2). Moderate tarnish is present in the recessed ridges of the starburst earrings (photo 5). The square earrings exhibit light surface wear and fine scratches (photo 7). The butterfly backings are present for both pairs of stud earrings and appear to be in working order.
