Vintage Casio F-100 Digital Quartz Watch Module 52 Japan R Black Resin Case - A vintage Casio F-100 digital quartz watch, module 52, featuring its original black resin case. Released in 1978, the F-100 was the first Casio model to utilize a full resin case construction and is widely known among collectors for its use in the 1979 film Alien. The watch features a front-button layout with four circular pushers. The dial plate is marked with the Casio brand name, model F-100, and labels for various functions including Month, Date, Day, and 1/100 second. The word JAPAN is printed below the LCD window. The case back bears the embossed markings CASIO, 52 (within a rectangular box), F-100, and JAPAN R. The watch is currently fitted with an aftermarket tricolor red, white, and blue striped nylon fabric strap with a metal pin buckle. Case width: 38 mm Total length: 8.5 inches. This item is in non-functional condition with a blank LCD display and is offered for parts or restoration. The acrylic crystal exhibits heavy surface scratching and a prominent fracture with delamination in the upper right corner. The black resin case shows general signs of wear, including scuffing and accumulated dust in the crevices. The aftermarket fabric strap shows significant fraying and wear, and the metal buckle is heavily oxidized and tarnished.
