Antique Ladies Gold Toned Open Face Pocket Watch with Floral Enamel Dial and Presentation Box - An antique ladies open face pocket watch featuring a gold toned metal case. The watch is distinguished by a square white enamel dial set within a circular engraved frame. The dial is decorated with hand painted floral sprays at each corner and features black Roman numeral hour markers with a black dot minute track. The watch is equipped with two gold toned hands. The bezel and the surround of the square dial are intricately engraved with scrolling foliate patterns. The reverse of the case is plain and polished. The watch contains a manual wind mechanical bridge movement with a regulator marked R and A. The interior of the case back is stamped with the serial number 18483 and a single illegible hallmark. Does not run. The watch is accompanied by a period presentation box with a black leatherette exterior and a purple velvet and cream silk lined interior. Watch Case Diameter: 1.25 inches Box Dimensions: 3.75 inches L x 3 inches W. The gold toned case shows surface scratches and significant wear to the finish on the reverse, where the base metal is visible. The enamel dial is in good condition with no visible cracks or hairlines. The crystal is intact. The movement does not run. The presentation box shows significant wear to the exterior including losses to the covering at the edges and corners. The interior fabric is frayed and shows signs of age and discoloration.
