Victorian Gold Filled Double Strand Slide Pocket Watch Chain with Bauble Fobs - A Victorian-era gold filled pocket watch chain featuring a double-strand foxtail link construction. The piece includes a sliding hemispherical bead with a granulated texture that allows for adjustment along the double chain. Attached to this slider is a short secondary curb chain terminating in a cylindrical T-bar. One end of the main chain assembly is fitted with a swivel dog-clip clasp for secure attachment. The opposite ends of the double chain are finished with two matching decorative globular bauble terminals. These terminals are ornamented with a granulated surface texture and raised, stylized quatrefoil cross emblems on the upper and lower faces. Length: 7.5 inches. The chain is in good antique condition with surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. There is a small area of green verdigris oxidation visible on one side of the sliding hemispherical bead. Both the swivel dog-clip clasp and the sliding adjustment mechanism are in functional condition.
