Elgin Art Deco 14K White Gold Filled Ladies Wristwatch with Matching Bracelet - A ladies Art Deco manual wind wristwatch by Elgin National Watch Co. The movement is marked Elgin Natl Watch Co. U.S.A. with serial number 27075669, dating to approximately 1924. The watch features a 14 karat white gold-filled case produced by the Emerson Watch Case Co., marked Coronation Quality and 14K Gold Filled 25 Years. The case back is personalized with a stylized FLA monogram engraving. The interior case back includes hand-scribed service marks H-L-7 and XN117. The dial has a floral engraved center, Arabic numerals, and a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. Accompanied by a matching 14 karat gold-filled expanding link bracelet featuring ornate floral and geometric Art Deco engraving. Case: 25mm length x 18mm width Bracelet: 5 inches length. The movement does not run and shows visible surface corrosion and pitting on the winding gears. The bracelet is detached from the watch case. The crystal is heavily scratched. The dial is significantly oxidized and discolored to a dark amber-brown tone. The gold-filled finish exhibits surface wear, scratches, and accumulated dirt throughout.
