Blum Watch Co. Art Deco White Gold Filled Ladies Tank Wristwatch - An Art Deco period ladies manual wind tank wristwatch by the Blum Watch Co. and Sirom Watch Co. The rectangular white metal case, likely white gold filled, features elaborate hand-chased foliate and floral engraving to the bezel, case sides, and lugs. The solid snap-on case back is decorated with a large, ornate cursive monogram. The silver-tone dial features a central rectangular inset panel with an embossed floral pattern, surrounded by black Arabic numeral hour markers. The fluted crown is set with a blue cabochon-cut stone. The watch is designed with fixed wire lugs. The Swiss-made manual wind mechanical movement is marked SIROM W. CO., BLUM WATCH Co, SWISS, FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS, and TWO 2 ADJTS. The regulator is marked S F and A R. Case: 28 mm x 18 mm Lug width: 10 mm. The watch is in well-worn vintage condition. There is significant surface tarnish and visible green oxidation (verdigris) concentrated around the bezel edges and lugs. The dial exhibits heavy patination, discoloration, and spotting throughout. The crystal shows multiple surface scratches. The movement appears complete, however, it does not run.
