Vintage Timex Marlin Day-Date Mechanical Wristwatch, 1980 - A vintage Timex Marlin wristwatch featuring a manual wind mechanical movement. The case construction includes a gold-tone base metal bezel with a stainless steel snap-back. The champagne gold-tone dial exhibits a vertical brushed sunburst finish, applied gold-tone baton hour markers, and a day-date aperture at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is marked Timex and Water Resistant, with reference codes 28418 10580 printed at the bottom edge. The internal manual wind M105 pin-lever movement is stamped Timex, Taiwan, No (0) Jewels, and Unadjusted. The watch is paired with an integrated gold-tone link bracelet and a fold-over clasp stamped Pat. HK2832. The case back is inscribed with Base Metal Bezel, Water Resistant, Stainless Steel Back, and Assembled in Taiwan. The interior of the case back shows a purple ink stamp reading 80W.
