1974 Timex Marlin Mechanical Manual Wind Date Wristwatch, Reference 25410 - A 1974 Timex Marlin manual wind mechanical wristwatch. The timepiece features a gold-plated base metal bezel and a stainless steel snap-on case back. The champagne-tone dial exhibits a heavy patina and extensive spotting throughout, with applied gold-toned bar indices and Arabic numerals at the 12, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. A date window is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark. The dial is marked TIMEX and WATER RESISTANT with the reference number 25410 02574 printed at the bottom edge. The exterior case back is stamped with concentric rings of text identifying its water and dust resistant properties, base metal bezel, and stainless steel back. The interior case back is stamped CASE GREAT BRITAIN TIMEX. The watch is powered by a caliber 25 manual wind mechanical movement, housed within a white plastic spacer marked 13.
