Sharp Quartz Day-Date Dress Watch with Two-Tone Expansion Bracelet - A vintage Sharp analog dress watch featuring a Japanese quartz movement. The watch is designed with a champagne-colored dial exhibiting a vertical brushed finish, gold-tone baton hour markers, and a day-date aperture located at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is signed SHARP QUARTZ and WATER-RESISTANT, with JAPAN MOVT printed at the base. The case is constructed from gold-tone base metal with a circular stainless steel snap-on case back stamped SHARP. It is fitted with a two-tone gold and silver-tone metal expansion bracelet, with one end link marked STAINLESS STEEL. This watch needs a battery. Case diameter: 35 mm. This watch is in heavily worn vintage condition. The case shows significant wear and loss of gold-tone plating, revealing the base metal underneath, along with surface pitting and scratches throughout. The crystal is damaged with numerous deep scratches and several visible cracks, notably near the 4 and 5 o'clock hour markers. The expansion bracelet exhibits finish wear and a visible accumulation of surface grime between the links. The stainless steel case back has handwritten markings in purple ink. The movement is untested and was not observed in operation at the time of cataloging.
