Ingraham Biltmore Luminous Uranium Dial Manual Wind Pocket Watch - An Ingraham Biltmore pocket watch featuring a black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and cathedral-style hands. The dial is marked with the Ingraham logo in stylized script above the block text BILTMORE. The word LUMINOUS is centered above a small seconds sub-dial located at the 6 o clock position, which features 10-second increments. The bottom edge of the dial is marked MADE IN U.S.A. The watch is constructed with a chrome-plated base metal case and a manual wind movement. Under UV light, the hands and numerals show strong green luminescence consistent with the historical use of radium paint. Case Size: Approximately 50mm diameter. The watch is in running condition as noted by the consignor. The chrome-plated case and crystal exhibit moderate surface scratching and wear consistent with age and use. A partial circular paper label remnant is present on the center of the case back. The dial and luminous material show visible age-related patina. The luminous material likely contains historical radium paint.
