Bulova Duo-Wind 10K Rolled Gold Plate 17 Jewel Automatic Wristwatch Caliber 10 AUC Serial 9708808 Circa 1950 - This vintage Bulova Duo-Wind automatic wristwatch features a 10K rolled gold plate bezel and a stainless steel case back. The round case is characterized by ornate, scrolling hooded lugs. The aged champagne-colored dial displays applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at the even positions and stick indices at the odd positions, with the Bulova name printed below 12 o'clock and Duo-Wind above 6 o'clock. Internally, the watch is powered by a caliber 10 AUC 17-jewel automatic movement marked as unadjusted and Swiss made. The outer case back is stamped with the Bulova name, the date code L0 for 1950, and serial number 9708808. The interior of the case back specifies the gold plating and includes various hand-etched watchmaker service notations dated to 1952 and 1992.
