A Collection of Vintage Westclox and South Bend American Pocket Watches and Horological Parts - This lot comprises an assortment of vintage American pocket watches, movements, and components, primarily from the early to mid-20th century. The collection includes several Westclox models: two Pocket Ben watches with small seconds dials, a Scotty model with a cream dial, and a Bull's Eye model with an attached fob chain. Also present is a Sentinel pocket-style stopwatch featuring a red center-sweep second hand and a True Time Tellers Tip-Top watch with a heavily yellowed crystal. A significant component is a loose South Bend Watch Co. movement, serial number 414734, featuring ornate engine-turned decorative engraving and marked South Bend, Ind. and Pat. Pinion. The lot includes a loose watch movement with a porcelain-style dial featuring Roman numerals and showing significant edge chipping and staining. One empty watch case is present, manufactured by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co., stamped with a balance scale emblem and the word Silverode, bearing the serial number 712854. Miscellaneous horological parts include brass gears, a winding stem with crown, and various brass plates.
